VBI Lighting

My name is Pete Rose, I am a garage owner and married with children and the most precious thing to me is my family, which is why I invented the VBI.

I have been in the motor trade for the last 25 years and I have seen most makes and models of cars and light commercial vehicles.

I have seen many improvements, BUT the one thing that hasn't been improved is the brake light, apart from the third braking light which works exactly the same as your normal brake light, apart from the fact that it is more visible.

A typical example, recently whilst driving home, I came into heavy traffic with a lot of brake lights going on and off, but not slowing down. After about 4-5 miles everybody slammed on their brakes, which I also did and with my family in the car I was concerned that the vehicle behind us would hit the back of us because there is very little protection to the rear of the vehicle and I had no way of warning the driver behind me.

This is the reason why I said to my wife "I am going to improve braking lights to tell the following drivers how hard your vehicle is slowing".

So I invented the VBI and designed it to be fitted easily (DIY) and because it works on inertia it will work the same on any vehicle.
